With the development of aviation, we established the Design & Research Institute of General Aviation. Most of the designers have more than 20 years of design experience. Among them, there are 10 percents of researcher-level senior engineers, 41 percents of senior engineers, and 48 percents of designers. This institute has successfully designed the CJ-6 primary training aircraft which won the gold medal of National Quality Prize and also designed the N5A agriculture & forestry aircraft which was designed strictly according to CCAR-23 and has been awarded the Type Certificate and Airworthiness Certificate. At present, the institute is making efforts to research and develop a new generation of N5B agriculture & forestry aircraft. National relate d departments support the undergoing subject of new general aviation technology. At the same time, according to the needs of developing general aviation, the institute is carrying out the work of pre-researching new types of general aviation.
