Hongdu Aviation Sub-assembly Factory, one of key factories of
assembling big parts and units of aircraft, was firstly founded in
1951, mainly dealing with manufacturing exportation-orientated jet
trainers, multi-use agricultural and forest aircraft and salangane
propeller aircraft as well as overhauling of aircraft.
Hongdu Aviation sticking to the policy of quality first and client
first, is in a possession of perfect development and manufacturing
system of aircraft, capable of comprehensive processing and inspecting
batches of aircraft., which is equipped with constant temperature
and fixed force instrument inspection lab, glue formulating lab, compound
materials processing workshop and sealed cabin riveting workshop.
The computer network has connected all the departments to administrate
the process of production and quality.
 Aircraft
Sub-assembly Factory is in a possession of such processing technique
as metal cutting, panel beating riveting and sealed riveting, capable
of assembling, producing and maintaining various kinds of aircraft.
Aircraft Sub-assembly Factory has researched and developed technology
of designing and producing aluminum decoration materials, capable
of designing and producing decoration for large buildings.
In recent years in order to accelerate development of the enterprise
and improve economic efficiency, Aircraft Sub-assembly Factory
has strengthened cooperation with foreign companies, such as jointly
finished overhauling of the whole set of Australian "Air Farmer",
forwarded to contract to produce wing flap and side flap of American
"Babbler" with American AYRES Co., undertook to produce
5-cabin AC500 business aircraft developed by Nanjing Light Aircraft
Co., Ltd., and exported several times our technical force to repair
aircraft and render technical directions to the foreign countries.
