Brief to Changjiang General Aviation

¡¡The paraphrase of the badge: the inspiration of this badge of Jiangxi Changjiang General Aviation is a flying sea-gull. That has a meaning of flying high and having a splendid prospect.

¡¡Jiangxi Changjiang General Aviation is a stock company which is invested by Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd and Jiangxi Hongdu Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. It was organized in 1993 and formally found in October of 1995.

¡¡At present, Changjiang General Aviation has three types of aircrafts----Y5B, N5, AC500. In order to develop the socialist market economy and steadily, quickly and healthily to put the general aviation business forward, the company provides good, efficient, economical and safe general aviation service and continuously to expand the Hongdu Aviation's civil aircraft market. The company has its own airport, runway, fight command system and systems of machine maintenance and ground service. The following is the introduction of the performance of the three kinds of aircrafts.

1. Aircraft Y5B is a version of the original Y-5 aircraft. As a multi-purpose aircraft, Y-5 enjoys the reputation of safety, economy, reliability and utility. In order to retain the successful designs of Y-5 aircraft, Y-5B aircraft makes no change to Y-5 aircraft's configuration, aerodynamic layout and airframe. Improvement are concentrated on avionics, communication and navigation system, agricultural equipment, pilot cabin and instruments panel, modified aircraft still is a multipurpose general aircraft. It can undertake cargo and passenger transportation, agriculture and forestry operating, parachute jumping, rescue, geophysical survey, pilot training, etc. As a multipurpose aircraft, Y-5B is also well received by military users. Specially the winglet to be added, the rate of climb has been increased obviously, range and service ceiling are increased too. This makes Y-5B become ideal military aircraft for air dropping, parachute jumping and other military purposes.
